Welcome to the Crossroads Emmaus 4th Day Group Information site. 

The Walk to Emmaus® is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders.  The program's approach seriously considers the model of Christ's servant hood and encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant to all".

The Walk to Emmaus® gets its name from the story in Luke 24:13-35, which provides the central image for the three-day experience and follow-up.  Luke tells the story of that first Easter afternoon when the risen Christ appeared to the two disciples who were walking together along the road from Jerusalem to Emmaus.  Like Christians and churches who are blinded by preoccupation with their own immediate difficulties, these two disciples' sadness and hopelessness seemed to prevent them from seeing God's redemptive purpose in things that had happened.

• Prayer Circle - The Crossroads "Emmaus Prayer Circle" is made up of a group of volunteers that distribute joys, concerns and prayer requests to the Crossroads Emmaus Fourth Day Group by means of E-mail.  We even have a few "tips" to help you manage your Prayer Circle messages. • Newsletter - Our newsletter "The Perseverance Press" is published monthly and provided free of  charge to all Crossroads Emmaus Fourth Day Group members.  The newsletter is full of information to help keep the group informed of the latest news, needs and events important to us all.  Click the button above to view, subscribe to or to learn more about the newsletter.

• Reunion Groups - A very important part of the Fourth Day experience, reunion groups provide support and accountability to Emmaus pilgrims.  We have listed all of the reunion groups we are aware of in our area to assist you in finding a group to become a part of.
