John Wesley hosts Christian Music Concert

     John Wesley will host a Christian Music Concert on Saturday,

January 28, 2006, at 6:00 PM.  Performing will be Jack, Marymichael, and John Rogers.  The Rogers have performed internationally serving God through their ministry, Moving Mountains Music Ministry.  The concert is free to the public and

will be at John Wesley United Methodist Church at 8300 Zac Lentz Parkway.

     Jack and Marymichael have performed for over fourteen years, including two trips to Hong Kong in 1996 and 1998.  Their music is a ministry.  Their style is eclectic—a little gospel, a little bluegrass, a little folk and of course a little bit of fiddle music.  What all their tunes have in common is their theme.  All are sung in praise of God and connected by their common thread of Christianity.

     The Rogers 16 year old son John is a fourth generation fiddler.  He is a gifted musician and is singing third part harmony.  In addition to the concert Saturday night, the Rogers will be providing the music for a 10:30 AM worship service on Sunday.
